The River City Racers and Overlander Ski Club are looking forward to a great day tomorrow at Stake Lake.  That is when the Polarthon - a winter duathlon comprised of snowshoe and ski disciplines - will make its debut.
The short course event begins at 10:00am and the long course will begin at 11:00am.
You can register at the Runner’s Sole today until store closing at 6pm and tomorrow at the Day Lodge at Stake Lake between 8 and 9am. There is also online registration available - that is linked to both the Overlander and River City Racers websites.

Many draw prizes including a pair of Nordic Blades.  These ice blades clip on to the bottom of your ski boots.  They are over $250.00 in value.  They will come in handy next year when the Polarthon includes the skating discipline.

Come and give it a go!!  We hope to host many more ‘Tri’s’ on snow (and ice)!
